About the Artist
Hello! I'm Bella-ran! :D
I am a self-taught anime/manga artist who specializes in traditional media. I'm best known for making cute, adorable illustrations and working small. Most of my drawings are 5x7 inches and the smallest are 2.5x3.5 inches. I mainly use copic makers and other ink based media, but I also dabble in watercolor and acrylic paints.
While my artist name is Bella-ran, my art brand is Arigatoupop. The name symbolizes my gratitude to all those who support me and my artwork in combination with my love for pop culture and all nerdy goodness. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, drawing (of course), and creating art videos. I also play the violin, piano, and the ukulele. Rarely I will also write music. The intros to both my youtube series "Chibisodes" and "Lineworks" feature a segment of a song I wrote. My first language is english, but I am also conversational in Japanese and Spanish so feel free to say hi in those languages if you speak them. :D
